HJC R-PHA 10 Helmets now in stock - HJC's best ever helmet!

 
The HJC R-PHA10 Helmet has just arrived in the shop!  The R_PHA10, pronounced Rafer (like raffle, but with an r) is HJC's lightest helmet to date.  Weighing in at only 1100g, without compromising safety, you get a hell of a lot of helmet for your money with the HJC R-PHA10.  Why?  Well, it comes with pinlock ready visor and pinlock lens, and a spare smoke visor (over £50 worth of extra visor and fog-free riding).  It is one of THE most comfortable helmets I've ever tried on, the visor mechanism is SWEET (smooth and effortless compared to other helmets) and has an easily worked lock mechanism to hold it in place when fully down.  The graphics are superior quality.  If you pick this helmet up you will feel the quality and lightness - if it's within your budget - buy it!
 
All you have to do is to choose which of the four designs you want (Atlan, Club, Be One, and Plain).

Scottoiler E System wins MCN Product of the Year

 We have just started stocking the new Scottoiler E System, the electronic automatic oiling system, amazingly easy to install and use and adds years of life and performance to your bike!  This has just won Product of the Year in the Parts and Accessories category for 2009 in the February MCN Awards.  It is getting excellent customer reviews in the press and on biking forums.  Click on the "buy now" link below to view this product in our online shop and read one of the reviews.  It ain't cheap but it's oh so good....

 Top Motorcycling Gadgets we've just set up this new section for the items you didn't know you needed till you got them.  It's a bit quirky and we're still adding to it, but these are things that historically have sold well because they really work, or do a job that's tricky to do otherwise.  They start at just a few £s and are well worth a look.

Forcefield Pro Sub 4 Back Protector wins MCN Product of the Year!

 In February 2010 MCN gave their prestigious product awards for 2009.  Forcefield's new Pro Sub 4 Back Protector was the winner in the Clothing category. 
 
Forcefield have taken an excellent product - the Pro 2 Back Protector and taken it further.  The Pro Sub 4 gets its name because it is designed to pass on less than 4kn transmitted energy in collision.  At 4kn or over, medical experts consider that there could be severe trauma to back or ribs.  In independent SATRA tests this back protector scored only 3.38 kn of transmitted energy, making biking safer for any racer or rider who buys this product.  Check it out in our clothing section under "Body Armour" or use the link provided here to view or buy.

Caberg Helmets new models are now in stock.  Caberg have always been leaders in the flip-front helmet market and they have updated their offer for 2010.  They continue to offer the Sintesi and Justissimo GT, but have now dropped the old Trip bestsellers and are offering a new model, the Konda instead.  All these flip-front helmets come bluetooth ready and have purpose built Bluetooth communication kits available, to take your ipod, mp3, mobile phone and provide a wireless rider to passenger intercom service.

KBC Helmets have come on line!  Their unique selling point is the amazing graphics for the price.  Check out some of the images online e.g. the VR-2R range - the Mask, Alien and Lady Killer helmets, the Magnum Eagle and the Gothic Rock Horror style XP3 Vampire.  If Macho is your thing, then the Bulldog and Tarmac Hammerhead helmets bold, brash and in your face graphics are for you.  For open face examples of their graphic style take a look at the Americana helmet (think Captain America from Easy Rider)and the Vandal graphics.   Street art for the helmet.
 
New HBC helmet range is now online too.  We predict (because they're catching attention already) that this season's best sellers are going to be the air pump range.  They have a small air pump button inside the helmet which when used in conjunction with the right size helmet gives you the best and most comfortable fit ever.  Check out the HJC FS-11's Crowhunter and Duende for this amazing new feature.  Also watch out for the Atlan coming in soon - HJC's lightest full face helmet ever at 1100g.  We are stocking just about all the HJC range this year because it is hard to find a better value range in terms of safety, quality and styling for the price.
 
Fluorescent is COOL!  Now, you may be used to thinking of fluorescent as something that learners or Volvo drivers in the making wear to ride a motorcycle, but it's this season's cool.  Both HJC and KBC have fluro helmets in this season's line up, with a serious price differential though, and the jackets to match are starting to come into the clothing ranges too.
