Since 1958, Shoei has prided itself in being dedicated to the development of market leading motorcycle helmet technology. Founded by Eitaro Kamata, who designed the first helmets exclusively for the motorcycle racing market, Shoei helmets rapidly gained world-wide renown. Shoei still manufacture all helmets (and all helmet parts) in Japan, even though manufacturing costs there have long since exceeded the level in many European countries. Their factory ethos is to take personal pride in every single helmet. As a result faults in Shoei helmets are practically unheard of, as every single piece reflects the spirit, ambition and attention to detail that is so typical of Shoei. Shoei's statement to their customers is "as a motorcycle rider and customer, we emphasize that you will feel and enjoy this quality every time you put on your Shoei helmet... Do not miss that pleasure."
Helmets are organised by type: full face first, then flip face and hybrid helmets, then open face. Within these three types they are in price order.
