Measuring for Your Helmet Size
Safety experts agree that the most important factor in choosing a helmet is choosing one that fits properly. Since a new helmet can cost several hundred pounds, it's worth taking a little extra time to measure yourself properly. Here's how to go about it.
The first step is to measure your head. Even if you think you know what size helmet you need, take the time to double-check. Get someone to help, if you can, and a small, flexible, measuring tape.
- Measure the circumference of your head from about one inch above your eyebrows in front to the point at the back of your head that gives you the largest measurement.
- Measure several times just to make sure you've got it. If the measurements vary, take the largest one.
- Now match the measurement with the helmet sizes on the chart provided, rounding up to the next largest number if your measurement falls between sizes.
NB. We list the size in centimetres next to the 2XS, XS, S, M, L, XL 2XL, 3XL etc. sizes in our drop down size choices so it should be easy to select the right one, but you can also refer to the chart below to check your size.

Measure
around your hand at the fullest part, (excluding the thumb)
If you are right handed, measure the right hand. If left handed, measure
the left.
